to my Re-Elect Sheriff Mike Evans' user-friendly web page. Thank you for
taking the time to visit and I hope you will find all the information
you seek. I invite each of you to take your time and browse the website
for information on the accomplishments I, along with my staff, have made
at the Sheriff's Office in the last seven plus years. I am extremely
proud of these accomplishments and assure you that we will continue to
serve the citizens and visitors to Calvert County in the most
professional and responsible means available.
Even though I am a lifelong resident of Calvert County, I have had the
pleasure of meeting a tremendous amount of wonderful citizens I would
otherwise have not had the opportunity to meet were it not for being
elected your Sheriff in 2002 and re-elected in 2006. I have made a
commitment to you, the citizen, and whether you have a concern, a
complaint, a request or just wish to speak with me, I remain committed
to providing you a response.
During the campaign of 2002 and 2006, I made a promise, and later took
an oath thanks to you, to provide you with the most professional, most
reliable and most concerned law enforcement agency. I believe I
have accomplished that goal, yet I will not stand for complacency and
will always continue to improve our services to all citizens.
I have challenged my staff to continue to seek better and more efficient
ways to handle law enforcement services. I push to seek enhanced
technology to improve our services to you, the citizen, and I am
constantly looking for measures to ensure our law enforcement services
are second to none.
You will see in this web page where my commitment to public safety,
homeland security, crime reduction, traffic safety, cutting-edge
technology, and cooperative services are all a measure of my commitment
to providing those in Calvert County with the law enforcement services
they deserve; THE BEST.
